The pages come through unchanged, but some extras that belong to the whole file do not:
- Kept: text you can select and search, fonts, images and page layout.
- Kept: web links on a page.
- Not kept: bookmarks, links that jump to another page, and the document title.
- Not kept: fillable form fields and digital signatures. Fill in forms before you merge, and sign the merged file after.
Can You Merge PDFs Without Losing Quality?
Yes. Each page is copied as it is, so images are not compressed again and text stays sharp. The merged pages look the same as they did in your original files.
Will the Merged PDF Be Bigger?
Yes. It's usually close to the size of your files added together, because nothing is compressed. If it's too big to email or upload, run it through the PDF compressor after you merge.
Can I Merge PDFs With Different Page Sizes?
