拖放动画 .gif 文件。单帧 GIF 导出为静态 WebP 格式；多帧 GIF 导出为动画 WebP 格式，并保留时间轴和循环次数。
每个 GIF 帧都会被编码成一个 WebP 帧。帧之间的延迟和循环次数都会保留下来。GIF 的 256 色限制在 WebP 中可以扩展到全彩。
在所有现代浏览器中，输出文件与源 GIF 动画播放效果完全相同。文件大小通常比原 GIF 动画缩小 50% 至 70%。
